Sometimes a sore throat just needs something simple like a gargle made up with salty water or a spoonful of honey dripped down the tongue.

Sometimes that sore throat goes away in a day or two.

But sometimes remedies for sore throat require more than just home treatments.

If you have a dull sore throat thats painful like a strep throat, it may not be strep throat. It could be that you have tonsil stones or tonsiliths. Thats mucus, dead cells and other junk caught in your tonsil crypts.

Whatever you do, avoid surgery, because oxygenating mouthwashes, sinus sprays, tongue scrapers and the right toothpaste will more than likely fix your recurring sore throat problem.
