Have you ever had tonsil stones coming out of your mouth and how many times?
It just happened to me today during my fourth period yuk it smelt and i spat it out.
No but my sister suffers with them. She is very prone to throat infections, after having a bad bout of tonsillitis as a child, she has a lot of scar tissue in her throat. Hence the stones, they are bacteria build up in the cavities which can lead to infections.
Get a Good antiseptic mouthwash, and gargle after every meal.
Good luck with yours, i know they are gross.
PS my poor ss has to have her tonsils removed at 30.

Tonsil stones? No such thing- but probably coughing up phlegm related to a sinus or upper respritory infection…..

When i was playing sports at school, I coughed something up, it was the size of a small marble and smelled very bad, I have never known what is was. Never heard of tonsil stones.

yes, I have, small about the size of a pea. smelt too.
doesn’t happen often though about once every couple of years.

Never heard of them in all my years nursing. Maybe you have been eating nuts and the kernals got stuck at the back of your throat a couple of days ago.
