How do I remove a bunch of tonsil stones on the very back of my tongue?
Hi there, welcome back. There's quite a bit to read here... don't forget to check out the recommended tonsil stones and bad breath products. Thanks for visiting!
They’ve been there for weeks, and now they’re starting to impede my swallowing. I can’t stand having them there, but my gag reflex keeps me from just scraping them out. Is there any way I can remove them without seeing the doc? That seems like an arduous process…
I’ve had tonsils stones for a few months now. I’m having my tonsils removed this summer for them, so you might want to see an ENT doctor. But anyway, here are a few ways I get them out:
-You can numb your throat using one of those sore throat sprays, this helps to prevent gagging when you try to get them out.
-Try gargling with salt water or a Listerine type mouth wash, this can help to break them lose.
-I think the easiest way to get them out is by using a water pik. Use one with an adjustable water pressure, so you don’t hurt yourself.
Hope this helps you!
