These foul smelling little tonsiliths form in my left tonsil now and again. This was a particularly big one and came out nicely in one lump

I had mine taken out because i kept getting infections every 2 weeks or so, doc said that usualy they wont take them out of older people, But becasue they were going in to remove my adenoids and reduce my turbinates (Breathing problems related to both of those) he mine as well get rid of my “ugly” looking tonsils too, So now they are out, Going on day 4, im really sore now, but its the swelling and thenderness thats the problem, Makes it hard to eat any thing, Even harder to drink

Im shocked that the human body has such a stupid flaw. I have been suffering for many many months now and i feel absolutly terrible. Every single day my throat kills and i am incredibly weak. Is having my tonsil removed realy the only solution?!

Hey man< just got out of surgery (yes, it hurts) last thing i rember is the nurse who was doing my anestesia puting a mask over my mouth and saying, this is pure oxygen, because what we usualy breathe is 80 percent nitrogen…. then blank, and i woke up in recovery, the doctor said that my tonsils, AND adnoids, were FULL like, not a few, Hundreds he said, Of tonsil stones, he said hes never seena ny thing like it, So yeah, its all good now, going for rhino and septo in december

You feel them. I know, I get them. Ever get a piece of beef or something stuck under the very side of your tongue underneath? It feels like something is stuck in a flap in the back of your mouth. Depending on how many or how big, it can be increasingly incomfortable. I had 3-4 fairly large sized ones in ONE tonsil one time and you could see it clearly if I had my mouth open.
