should i be worried about tonsillolith?

im pretty sure i have tonsillolith and this is the first time i had it. so i dont know what to do about it. i also need to know if i should go to a doctor or if simple home remidie can fix my problem.

It causes bad breath/halitosis.

You should go to a doctor, but you can remove it with a waterjet, or if you don’t have one of those just use a wet q-tip.

I just found my first one today, got some info on it and pushed out a good amount of it out of a crevice in my left tonsil. I gargled with some listerine (anti-septic) and swallowed a little bit.

I got nauseous after prodding at it after a couple of tries (it was far back there) and i swallowed a bit of listering and ended up puking (just a little bit) – not pretty, but it got rid of even more of that crap.

good luck
