Tonsillolith

Tonsil pockets are a perfectly natural part of your anatomy. You’ll find them way at the back of your throat.

Unfortunately for many people, these tonsil crypts are great repositories for tonsil stones.

What are tonsil stones?

Also known as tonsilloliths (or tonsiliths), tonsilstones are small hard lumps of whitish material that are made up partly of food, partly of mucous, partly of other detritus that lodges in your mouth.

They make themselves snug in the pockets of your tonsils and make your breath smell and your throat sore.
