tonsil rocks
What you are calling tonsil rocks are in fact tonsil stones or tonsilloliths (or even tonsilliths).
Don’t worry. Lots of people get them.
And they are not necessarily caused by poor oral hygiene (though they can be)
The problem is that these tonsil rocks cause you to have bad breath and an uncomfortable or even painful feeling at the back of your throat, where they tend to cluster in your tonsil crypts.
They can even cause you to cough.
But they are treatable and it is simple, but you have to be consistent in your approach.
