tonsils and bad breath

Tonsils and bad breath don’t have to go together, but they often do.

Tonsil crypts or pockets can be a great little hiding place for tonsil stones (tonsiliths or tonsilloliths) which grow from food particles and other debris at the back of your throat.

This means chronic bad breath, but it can be treated if you go about it the right way.

You don’t have to have poor oral hygiene to get tonsil stones and bad breath, but if you do suffer from bad breath due to tonsil stones, you need to get onto a good regime to fix the problem so you can lead a happy and confident life without bad breath pulling you down.
