What are those white spots on tonsils?

They aren’t just spots, they’re small whitish, yellowish balls of a combination of rotting food debris, other proteins and junk that are packing themselves into the crypts of your tonsils.

Occasionally you’ll cough them out or have them rolling around in your mouth. Yuk!

The good news is they are not dangerous.

The bad news is they make your breath smell bad and give you a sore throat that you just can’t shake.

What can you do about those white spots on your tonsils?

Read this article by Dentist Dr Harold Katz about what those white spots are (tonsil stones) and how to get rid of them.
