Other things to try: 1. Gargle with Cepacol mouthwash--it may not dislodge your current stone, but it will kill the bacteria that contributes to the formation of large stones. 2. Press on the side of your neck where the stone is and cough HARD. 3. Gently use a q-tip or other small object (oral thermometer, etc...something with a rounded tip) to either scrape or push the stone out...use this as your last resort and be careful, as you don't want to injure your throat or gag yourself.
